Course Description

During our award-winning 5-day (ISC)² ISSEP® Training Camp, students will live, learn, and take the certification exam at one of our state-of-the-art education centers. The course is taught by (ISC)² authorized instructors who employ effective (Lecture | Lab | Review)™ delivery of the curriculum while focusing on preparing you with the knowledge and skills required to pass the rigorous ISSEP® examination.

This course is the only boot camp endorsed by (ISC)² to familiarize you with the CISSP-ISSEP Common Body of Knowledge® [CBK]. The Official (ISC)² ISSEP Training Camp™ encompasses the Official (ISC)² ISSEP CBK Review Seminar, Training Camp's Value-Added ISSEP instruction, and on-site delivery of the Official ISSEP Examination.

Prerequisites

This course is intended for students who possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in the information security field and who hold a valid (ISC)² CISSP certification in good standing.

Effective March 1st 2012, professional experience requirements for the ISSEP will remain five years, but the domains will change. As an (ISC)² authorized partner, Training Camp will incorporate these changes immediately for delivery of the most up-to-date, official (ISC)² curriculum.

Learning Objectives

Certification and Accreditation - identifies, understands, and implements the Certification and Accreditation (C & A) processes.
Systems Security Engineering - employs Information Assurance Technical Framework (IATF) processes to discover users’ information protection needs and design systems that will effectively and efficiently address those needs. It also covers concepts of defense in depth, risk assessment, and the systems lifecycle.
Technical Management - describes system development models and relates security tasks to these models.
U.S. Government Information Assurance (IA) Regulations - identifies, understands and applies the practices as defined by the United States Government Information Assurance regulations.

Module A	Systems Security Engineering

			Should a student complete a Training Camp Program without having successfully passed all vendor examinations, the student may re-attend that program for a period of one year. Students will only be responsible for accommodation and vendor exam fees.
